Bruna Carvalho é artista visual especializada em pinturas de avifauna brasileira. Autodidata, desenvolve seu trabalho em óleo sobre tela utilizando como referência fotografias próprias obtidas em campo. É estudante de Ciências Biológicas pela UNIVALI em Santa Catarina, e documentadora ativa de aves no WikiAves, prática que alimenta diretamente sua pesquisa visual e científica para cada obra. |
Bruna Carvalho is a visual artist specializing in Brazilian avifauna painting. Self-taught, she works in oil on canvas, using her own field photographs as reference.
She is a Biology student at UNIVALI in Santa Catarina and an active bird documentarian on WikiAves, a practice that directly informs the visual and scientific research behind each work.
Her paintings integrate naturalist observation, taxonomic knowledge and pictorial technique, resulting in works that unite art and science. She held a solo exhibition at the Museu do Imigrante in Timbó-SC (2024) and has works available on the international platform Singulart.
